Erie Yellow Cab is pleased to announce that the mobility-impaired now have an on-demand, door-to-door taxicab service.

Our wheelchair accessible taxicab (pictured above) is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week (except during routine or unscheduled maintenance) to meet your transportation needs. Trained drivers are available to assist you in boarding and leaving the cab. Our goal is to provide you with a safe and enjoyable ride.

Please be advised that our drivers are not permitted to enter your residence to assist you. At public facilities, such as doctor's offices, the driver is permitted to enter the main lobby only.

To enhance our service to you, you are encouraged to pre-schedule your ride whenever possible (see our Time Call page). You may reserve the cab as far as a week in advance. On-demand requests will be serviced as soon as operationally possible, depending on demand.

When calling, please inform our operator that you need the Wheelchair Van. The operator will give you an estimated time for the arrival of your taxi.
